Scratching my head on this !!
1986 EzGo with robins 244cc engine.
Runs great counter clock wise. Runs when it wants to clock wise. Been going on for awhile. NOTE..has new crank seals. Any idea what's going on ? |

Re: Scratching my head on this !!
This is a shot in the dark, and nothing more. Do a compression test in both directions.

If its rings why don't it do it all the time..it may go weeks running ok then as I said it runs when it want to...not trying to be smart...I do appreciate your info...but I have tried everything. This has been going on for not months but several years...runs flawless for weeks and then it want move.

Re: Scratching my head on this !!
Read your first post, and then ask yourself if you would be able to diagnose it with such limited information.
I will gladly try to help you, but you have to describe exactly what it's doing when it's acting up. Clockwise, and counter clockwise doesn't help either. Some people describe from the front while others describe from the rear. Forward, and reverse is more helpful. I said test the compression because we recently had a similar problem that was solved with rings. I said it was a shot in the dark with yours because of the limited information that you gave. Maybe it's an engine problem. Maybe it's an electrical problem. We'll never know unless you actually do some testing. |

Geez Larry, there is no secret miracle fix. Testing to diagnose is what it takes
