Default Re: Help me pick controller upgrade for PDS.

Well, I sold my Yamaha Rhino and bought this cart so I'm not looking for crazy speed, just want to make it up the hills without putting a lot of money into it.

Here is what I was recommended by EV Drives for $440 total.
DCX400 PDS and upgrading the solenoid into a 200 amp (MZJ-200D or WR-586).

I'm assuming I can do this myself, but the diagrams didn't look too simple.

Also, anyone worked with this company and is it a good price? I looked at sponsor sites, and will begin checking prices now ....

with all the controller upgrade talk here, is this including the factory motor or aftermarket motors?

each cart is different we installed a 600 amp in 2 different lifted carts and got 21mph and 23 mph with the other one and we change controllers, motors and batteries and didnt get a different speed


with 18 to 19 tall tires i would not run more than 500 amp 36 volt
or 400 amp 48 volt

no body has proven to me a good after market motor on a pds

does that price include the dcs to pds adoptor???
