ezgo wires getting hot
My friend has a 2002 electric ezgo and the wires from the F/R switch to the motor get so hot they almost melt when he runs his cart. What could the problem be ?

Bad connections, loose wires bad contacts. Stalling the motor.

Re: ezgo wires getting hot
also I've seen many lifted carts with 6 gage wiring still, 4awg is recommended and bigger buss bars on the direction switch if the cart is lifted with 20 or higher tires, but I bet if wiring is correct size it is lack of contact, dust, even sometimes acidic water spilled over the contacts, a broken spring, riding long distances over passing motor rating, many many many flavors to choose
