Default 1995 ExGo Medalist TXT

I have a 1995 EzGo Medalist that is running very noisey. I have lifted the cart and run the motor the noise is coming either from the motor of the transfer case it mounts to. Looking for a drawing of the transfer case to determine what gears and/or bearings are replaceable. Need help to isolate the noise issue. Cart still runs I can play 18 holes but it is very loud, grinding noise sounds like bearings. HELP!! I have checked the fill plug and oil pours out when I loosen the plug, using SAE 5-30 weight oil. Not a draging brake.

your noise is more than likely the bearing in the motor. it is replaceable, but complete disassembly of motor is required. I do about 2-3 a week here. The brush dust gets into the bearing and kills the bearing.

Thanks for your insight, I'll pull the motor and see what happens, do you have a good source for replacement bearings?

pretty any of the forum sponsors has them. I use the axle bearing when i do mine. Do not know of the real difference from motor bearing to axle bearing, but they work.

You may want to contact mikesmotortoys on here, he more than likely has them listed on his website.
