top speed on 244 robin
hey guys tuned up , and did a bunch a work to my 86 ez go , i took my tom tom gps with me for a rip and hit 25 mph . I was happy with that (22 in tires). any way i was wondering what you guys have got for a top speed on these old 2 strokers

No govenor and on the 88 is the only year for the HO (I think)

Usually means "high output". In this case could be "haulin oss"!

take the givernor off , at the driven clutch you will see where the lever gets pressed after the clutch spreads out. take that lever and cable off. The biggeset difference other than that was heat the crap out off your muffler and burn all the crud out. ( I litterally cooked it in a bbq for 3 hrs on high) huge difference!!!!

My 1988 runs 19-20 MPH. No governor, stock size tires. 26 MPH fastest on a cool night and a long flat run. Good Luck.
