Pick up a gallon can of the "Gunk" brand carb cleaner, even comes with a little basket.
Tear it down and soak everything for a couple hours, so you don't get impatient use this time to drain and clean the fuel tank, check all of the fuel lines and pulse hose for cracks or blockages, don't forget the pick up tube in the tank. After you soak, remove everything and rinse with water before blowing out with air. The reason water rinse first is so you don't atomize and breathe the cleaner when you blow it out or blow it on something nice, it will remove/desolve paint. Reassemble and adjust. Don't forget, the 1 1/2 turns out is just a setting to get it running, you still may need to fine tune it. |
