TXT-vs- RXV
Looking to buy a used gas cart in the $4000 range. What is the difference between the EZ-GO TXT and RXV models?
If it matters, the only aftermarket items I plan to add are LED lights (lightbar or spotlight) and the backseat for occasional passengers. Thanks, Billfo Last edited by Billfo; 08-26-2010 at 02:38 PM.. Reason: typo |

Re: TXT-vs- RXV
Ok, so the RXV are nicer? Better ? Bigger motor- better electrical system ? What. I have no idea. No clue AT ALL... Price aside, what is the difference btw the two in Gas models.. Given the two carts side by side how do I compare.. Does one climb hills better ?
I hope to get out tomorrow am & go to a huge lot 60 miles away from me. If all works as planned-return with a newer GAS ride ! Thanks for the input(s). |

Re: TXT-vs- RXV
Gas rxv's have a lot of flaws first it was the gas pedals gettin stuck wide open then it was the same with the brake pedals now its the starter generators and the gas tanks not venting in this hot florida sun causeing them to swell and overcome the needle and seat in the carb and filling the crank case over full with fuel and it makes them smoke good skeeter patrol though they haven't been good carts so far

Re: TXT-vs- RXV
They put a steel pin though an aluminim gas pedal a little bit of wet grass and sand and mud and the alumium corrodes and thhe pin rust just give it time in my opinion they quit using hitachi starter generartor in 2010 they went with an advance motors generator and the brushes are to big for the armature so wen they wear they wear a half cirle and hit the other brush then the cart don't go
