2008 st sport little more speed while pulling a hill
Hi, newby. Have a 2008 st sport with robbins 350 engine, Live in Georgia mountains and drive the cart in very hilly terrain on gravel and paved roads. Looking for a little more speed while pulling a hill. Have read posts on governor, shorter belt, clutch springs and 28 degree clutch. My cart i believe came with the 28 degree clutch and the heavier duty belt. I use Mobil one oil and change it often. I am a big guy and do not want to damage the cart in any way by over stressing the engine. I have owned two other Robbins engines in other equipment and they have performed flawlessly. One of the engines is over 20 years old and will not die. I know there is the speed vs torque dilemma. Any suggestions for adding a little more speed while pulling a hill would be appreciated. Thanks BG
