I am going to take my other EZGO motor down and have a full re-build performed on it. That way I have 2 running motors even though one is kind of week.
I see you have a 1 month space in your posts. Did you get your compression figured out. Was the tester good or bad. See ya got some of us interested in your problem, then you left us hanging for 30 days, then ------- no answer.

Yes I did I am now a new DAD I had a little girl on Christmas Eve. She is perfect.

So I have been forced to take a break. I have not got a chance to check the compression again. The motor runs so I am trying to get my other 87 2pg running now.

I am picking up the fenders from the paint shop for my 83 today and will be slowly putting it together. I have everything on the body all taped up and I am going to Rattle can it all black as soon as it stops raining.

I did Take the motor down and they wanted $675 to do a full re-build. That is more than I have in the cart so i decided not to leave with them.

Maybe you can help me with my steering issues. I have a 1994 Marathon Gas that I bought for $800 and I'm going through it to fix up and sell. there is quite a bit of slack in the steering. I have changed the reduction gear, and replaced bushings in my steering idler arm. Everything else seems to be tight. Should I have replaced the steering rack with the reduction gear. I cannot seem to move forward until this steering issue is fixed.

Thanks,

OK

I finally did a little more work. I painted the entire frame and everything that is still connected to it. I got the body pieces form the paint shop and put the front panel on. I also ordered some shocks from e-bay and they fit perfect. I took stock shock extenders from the from the lift kit off. This way I could fit full size shocks on there. They seem to work perfect. I bought them form this e-bay store National Shock Absorber. The guy that I talked to over there was very helpful and he sent me exactly what I asked for. They look good. I also bought a rebuilt driven clutch and I have no idea how to install it. Can anyone help me out with that ?
