Cheapest thing to try is a new plug.

You have changed the plug and the plug lead and certainly you can convert to HEI at a much cheaper cost than using EZGO parts.

However one of the usual suspects is bad connectors and I would check these out first. You will see that on the firewall is a plate that the ignitor and regulator are mounted. Connected to this plate are one or two ground wires. You should remove these and clean them as well as the plate where they are bolts. Get them down to bare metal to ensure a good bond. Also remove the ground from the battery where it bolts to the frame and clean that as well. There should also be a ground from that point to the engine. It is entirely possible that your issue will now be cured so try to fire it up again.

If not then take apart the 5 pin connector from the ignitor, squirt some WD 40 in there and reconnect. There is also a 2 pin connector behind the air filter which is the output from the pulsar. It would be good to check that as well.

If it is still not running measure on the positive of the coil, with the engine cranking you should see ~ 8 volts.

Lets us know what happens.

So I finally got a chance to get to the cart. I went down to my brothers and we took off the ground cables which were pretty nasty cleaned everything up and still nothing. I asked him if he had changed the plug wires and he had not. We went to Napa bought some cable\fittings made 2 new cables and she fired right up. Thanks all for all of the help and suggestions.
