Default More speed

I have a 05 EZGO gas. How do I get more speed without screwing anything up? I'm getting about 18 mph right now. I would like to get about 5 more mph. Adjust the governor maybe?

There is a gov on both the motor and the rear end on those. I would tweek the rear before blowing up the engine lol There not made to be speed demons but you can squeeze a lil out of them. Might try a tick larger tires...

taller tires will definitely do the trick ... My Marathon came stock governed at 12-13mph, tweaking (OK, removing - shhhhhh) the governor gave me about 18 also, going to 22x11 tires gave me a solid 22-23mph solo, 21 with a rider (overinflating the tires will sneak you an extra mile or two, but it makes the ride almost unbearable, as well as screws with the handling a bit)
