79 marathon starter/gen brushes?
Trying to replace brushes in my 79 Marathon gas starter/gen. Found a set on everything carts site for 23.99 but for 80 and up. Is there a difference that wouldn't allow them to work on a 79? If so, does anyone have a good place to get them? Thanks, BILL

Our local Ace Hardware carries sets of assorted brushes. You could take one of yours with you and look. Also, I believe that many of the site sponsors will carry these! I don't know what the difference between the model years makes. Sometimes it's just a connector end or the color of a wire lead!
