Check the little S brackets on the spindle/tie rod ends. They get bent easily. Then the toe alignment is off.

The brown truck stopped by today Tires, wheels and a Jake's 6". Got a good deal at Golf Cart King--and great service. I ordered this on Wed morning and it arrived today. Already have a clutch spacer, ramp shoes and a U-Max spring. When I get the red cart back together--hopefully tomorrow--I'll start on this. I've worked on the body a little, but paint and seats will be last.

Yeah, I know. We had to spend some time up north, and then we took the camper to Illinois for a family reunion. Had a good time

The middle spring is a new stock spring. The dirty one is out of the red cart. It's old and compressed, I guess. Did you preload your U-Max spring?

Definatly "preload" the umax spring, you'll find tough going compared to a stock spring, but well worth it I'm digging on those tires, look agressive, but have rounded edges for better turning. Nice clean up of the side body decal, did you use "goof off" or "graffitee romoval" product?

We stayed in Chatham, just south of Springfield. We left on Sunday and headed south on 55, missed the detour for the closed entrance ramp to eastbound I-64, and pulled a Clark Griswold, having to go into, and get out of, downtown St. Louis

This was taken before we hit the road for home.

Thanks, Dave. The body was scratched where someone removed stickers. I used red glazing putty to fill the scratches and 320 grit paper.

I pulled the trans apart again (much easier the second time) and added 2 shims to the input shaft and now it's a little tight. I'll get it right tomorrow
