G2 Rear end
finally got all the parts to fix the rearend on my G2 (thanks governor for coming apart). My question is how do put the spring on the rear sheave. And i have some rust on the shaft, if im thinking right that needs to be shiny for the sheave to move freely

Re: G2 Rear end
To compress the spring, put a ratchet strap around the inner sheave and ratchet it down to compress the spring. Then reinstall the outer sheave and nut. Loosen ratchet strap and remove. The strap may get stuck between the sheaves, but just give a tug and rotate the sheaves, it'll come out.
