Re: Poor running 93' gas Yamaha cart
sounds like something wrong with the fuel pump. you can take apart & look at the diaphram to see if its damaged or dirty

Re: Poor running 93' gas Yamaha cart
sorry i didnt see your first post where you replaced the fuel pump. but you should see pulses of fuel come out not a dribble & not a steady stream these are not hi volume pumps. i drive on very steep hills & have fuel problems so im putting on a low pressure eletric fuel pump to see if it helps my problem.

Re: Poor running 93' gas Yamaha cart
Any tiny crack in the fuel line or pulse line can also cause problems. Also take the valve out of the hose up the head and note what way it faces, clean with carb spray and put it back in. It sits in the bulge in the hose. On the starter mine pulses fuel out in spurts. At higher rpm it flows slower.

Re: Poor running 93' gas Yamaha cart
You might not I forget on your cart, the older ones they have a hose from the engine and a T off to the pulse of the pump. The other T line goes up to the valve and up to the top rocker cover. I believe it is to keep oil out of the line which will plug the pulse line.
