Re: Engine on a tilt
hi,, mine is 6up,, i also was concerned about the tilt,,, because it will give you a different oil reading on the dip stick,, when i changed my oil i put in 1qt,, it was about one quarter qt. low on stick, because of the new tilt.. Now,, i an sure someone is gonna chime in and say put 1 qt, only anyway,,, i decided to add the extra 1/4, my thought is BECAUSE THE ENGINE IS NOW TILTED, I ESPECIALLY WANT IT FULL TO THROUGH THE OIL UP TO THE VALVES;; you make up your own mind,, mine doest smoke or burn any,, no oil in air box, or any side effect,, good luck

Re: Engine on a tilt
My cart has a 6” lift and if I drain the oil on level ground, with the tilt about 4oz of oil remains at the rear of the crank case. At first I used a hand held vacuum pump that you use to bleed break systems. When I wanted to replace the transaxle lube I had to back the cart up on the loading ramps on my trailer to get it level, to be able to get the lube level correct. Now when I change the oil I use the same method. Good Luck.

Re: Engine on a tilt
no, if you put the back up, on ramps, so the engine base is level, then drain, all will drain out,, put in 1qt,, when you take it off the ramps, it will not be full, about a eight of a qt to full mark on dip stick,,
