Clutch adaptor spacer nessessary?
does anyone know if it is absolutly manditory or nessary to use the aluminum spacer provided in the tapered clutch adaptor kit?(1in to metic taper)....i have already have a collar on my shaft to make sure the tapered shim gets wedged into the clutch shieve....BTW...i have a duromax motor if anyone knows what im talking about....thanks for any input

No. You don't have to use it. I didn't use it on my clone swap. The closer the clutch is to the block, the less strain you will have on the crank bearings.
