Lester Charger and State of Charge
I have got a question about state of charge and the Lester Charger.
After running my cart for 5 or 6 miles I had let it rest a minute or so and tested the pack with a volt meter which read 50.1v - per the chart that Scottyb included with my recent purchase that should be equivalent to 81-83% state of charge. When charging with the Lester Charger and using the app the read out said 59% state of charge. I am assuming that the volt meter reading is more accurate but wondering why such a difference and if anyone else has noticed a difference. Just looking for another way to help better understand how low I run my pack between each charge and the approx distance i can get between charges. Thank |

Re: Lester Charger and State of Charge
I haven't paid much attention to that on either of mine, but I would assume Lester has a somewhat more complicated algorithm for determining SOC, since the charger has to do that While it's charging. That's totally different than just checking the voltage while the pack is at rest.
