It looks like the harness was already updated to an IQ harness, so it’s probably fine. though it could have been routed better.

Someone removed the charge receptacle for some reason.
I’d get some batteries in it and see what it does before going too far into wiring or other parts.

The solenoid is an updated solenoid. That cart looks like it originally had the toaster coil setup. Pretty sure that started out as a series cart with an FnR lever.
Yeah Ill bet it has the Mcor. Theres definitely no Vglide under the seat. Ive seen those before.
OE F/R lever is probably why the rocker switch box isnt mounted and is just hanging there with extra wires.

I see a couple screw holes there but guessing they weren’t put there for the FnR switch case.

I forget what thread size the screws are that hold that box on, but they’re just in a triangle pattern. Easy to make a template, line it up, drill some holes and attach it to the body.

How many wires are there? Only need three.

Depends if they used a harness for a DS or for a Precedent.

This should be close

Awesome ! Thanks !

I need to figure out how to bypass the OBC now and if a tow/haul switch needs to be there.
Not seeing one currently.

Made progress today.

Looks like someone mickey moused a harness for the sepex setup, but left all the old harness too. The speed sensor wasnt even on the motor... just hanging underneath.
Looked like a complete mess... so I gutted all but what was connected between the Mcor and controller.
Ill make a nice mounting plate for the controller and solenoid tomorrow... so its easier to access and route wires. May grab batteries this week or next weekend if I can find a set of Trojans locally.

Also confirmed its a 500a controller.

That original picture #2 You posted showing the Controller indicates that it is probably trashed.

Notice how some genius figured a way to convert the IQ harness 16-pin connector to the Curtis 24 pin receptacle by just shoveling it in the center pins.

You need to try to find a 16-pin male to a 24-pin female + 6-pin female harness conversion for that Controller.

It may also require installing a walkaway relay and adding a new negative to the speed sensor.

Well... I also have a fallback option to use stock parts I was given awhile back. Not sure what they are from but I know they ran off an Mcor pedal arrangement.

I also dont have any reason to believe this Sepex setup was ever powered up.
It was a project that was never completed... so im hoping its all still good.

I agree with Sergio on this one. If you're gonna try and use that 1268, you need to get the correct "conversion" harness to go from the IQ harness to the 1268 connector, which incorporates a walkaway relay as well. It also needs to have a Tow/Run switch in the circuit, which I don't know why it wouldn't already if they've put an IQ harness on the car. Maybe they've taken the Regen 1 harness that was on the car and put an IQ connector on the end of it and hoped for the best? The most headache free way to do this would be to order a new IQ wire harness for that car, with a new MCOR 4 conversion kit. Then you'll have the option of either installing the conversion harness to use the 1268, or plugging it directly into the 1510 controller you posted the picture of.
