Limit reverse speed
I bought the C42 kit from Scotty B and it’s all installed and working, but it’s REALLY fast in reverse. My Mom is gonna put it through a wall! 😂 Any way to slow it down in reverse? Thanks! Jon

If you have the big mechanical lever forward/reverse, you have to rig up another micro switch that is activated when in reverse to send signal to the Alltrax.

It looks like you do have a reverse switch (only closed in reverse). There is a buzzer hooked up to it? Y the output of that to the blue terminal on the Alltrax. Adjust the speed in the software.

If this terminal goes high, the controller assumes you are in reverse.

My micro switch activates the solenoid on the f&r switch so I would have to rig another one. So if the blue terminal on the Amtrak is hot then it slows it down in reverse?

In the software (yours will be slightly different), you slow reverse down here for each user.
