Default ExRay temperature probe mounting on a PQ motor

I just purchased a ExRay (along with some other goodies I'll show here.. hint: just released last week SPM controller that has an output that starts with a 6)

I'm trying to figure out the 'best' place to mount the temperature probe on my Assassin motor...

Should I tape it on? (If so, on the end cap, or on the side of the motor)?
or should I try to bolt it on, if so, where?

Anybody have any good suggestions. When I start pushing 600+ amps to this puppy I want to monitor the motor temp so I don't fry it too quickly.

I attached the probe using a field coil bolt. Works great.

No problem in just removing the bolt to put the ring terminal on?

On mine anyway, the bolt does not have a nut on it. It goes into a threaded hole in the field coil. I just carefully removed it and attached the probe with a washer bigger than the hole on the probe.
