97 gas problem?
I just got a 97 gas cart checked compression it was 135 150 so i adjusted the valves like any other time. Then rechecked comp. and it is 140 140 i did it twice same story. So whats the deal are the valves that worn? The cart doesn't smoke at all. Any help will be great thanks in advance!

140 sounds about normal for that engine.

look in the service manual for the proper way to run the compression test.

I checked it out did it per the book. Still 145 added alittle oil it went up only 10lbs. it runs good doesn't smoke a bit only thing is you gotta depress the gas further than normal to get it going but it runs out good. Any ideas?

adjust throttle and governor per the manual and enjoy your cart.
