You guys are too funny!!! The actual engine is a Briggs & Stratton 303440 1410-e2. While that particular model has been discontinued, Briggs and Stratton has replaced it with 305440 1410 and those are available for $1,100 plus shipping from a Briggs and Stratton dealer. I also had a local EZ-GO dealer quote me $1,714.00 for the engine in the EZ-GO Augusta, GA warehouse. For all of you that thought $2,700 or even $2,000 was a steal...you might ask yourselves why you thought so.
