Hit bump or go across a small hill and engine stops

My 95 Clubcar with a kawSAKI gas engine has served me well over the years. Recently it hAS DEVELOPED A PROBLEM. wHEN i HIT A BUMP OR TRavel on aN UNEVEN SURFace the engine stops. The cART WILL NOT START UNTIL i SHIFT IT INTO nEUTRal and then shift bACK TO FORWARD OR REVERSE. aT THAT POINT i SIMPLY HIT GaS AND it starts and run fine until the next incident.

I have had new gAS FILTERS aND GAS LINES installed to remedy situatioN BUT THE CART CONTINUES TO ACT UP IN THIS MANNER.E

It sounds to me like one of your micro switches behind the shifter may be acting up if the problem is fixed after switching the gears back and forth. Doesn't sound like a fuel problem to me.

You nailed it. I spent about $11.00 on EBAY and bought both the two pin AND THE THREE PIN MINI SWITCH' aFTER installation that cart was taken for a test run. It never ran so good, Thanks a million./
