Gas in Air Filter Housing on 98 Club Car
I have just purchased a 98 model gas club car. It was running rough and while cleaning and servicing I fount that the air filter housing was full of gas. I have run the car without the air cleaning hose attached and it runs much better but I can still smell excessive fuel while running. the choke is open and the spring is in place. Has anyone run across this?

Had this problem with a 98 ezgo txt. It was hard to crank and spitting gas back into the air filter box. Mine ended up being the valves were out of adjustment. Adjusted the valves and runs great now. Not sure if that's the problem with your club car but it's worth a try.
