That's somepretty impressive gains. Thanks for testing the before and after in all the different areas of operation. This will really clear up some questions that members here might ask. Thanks again

Just ordered my 300a controller from Don. He is programming for 50% ramp. New batteries going in 2 weeks from now so I will wait until then to post results.

OK, an issue during install. There are two wires F1 & F2 I believe that were connected to the OEM controller via spade terminals. There is no where to plug those into the new XTC. Am I supposed to cut the wires and install lugs? This is not in the directions, and as far as direction my controller doesn't look like the one pictured in them. Anyone that has installed one care to help?

So to connect J8 & J7 I am going to have to cut off my female spade terminal and put the battery style lugs on?

Yes, it looks like the only option.

FYI, the replacement of spade to ring terminals is covered in the directions but I wasn't expecting it. Test results to follow....

I replaced my stock controller with a Alltrax XCT from Scotty this weekend. It was a very easy install and a huge improvement in speed & acceleration.

The only issue I had was the manual shows F1 & F2 reversed. (page 20) When I connected them as shown, forward was reverse and reverse was forward. Luckily I found where Scotty had posted the color image of the controller on Friday and it shows the correct position of the "F" wires. I switched them around and everything worked fine.

To "1970 Buick"s point, the original F wires do have spade terminals on the wires and you need to install a couple of ring terminals to attach the F wires to the new controller.

All in all, a great improvement !
