2006 DS won’t move
Hello all, I have a 2006 club car DS AQ0629 48volt 4 12v Trojan T12-75 A19 that I picked used, Drove onto trailer brought home and commenced with rebuilding it, put it all back together and it will not go forward or reverse. Key on reverse buzz’s push pedal got click but no zoom. Has new solenoid (tested good) new plum quick bandit motor, new MCOR, new charge ports, new tow/run switch. Tested from M- on controller to battery negative and push pedal , readings 51.8 then drops off to 40 and lower the more I push pedal. Would appreciate any input I am new to this cart world.. thank you

Re: 2006 DS won’t move
The wires going to the motor are getting really hot when it’s trying to go. I jacked it up and after a few attempts the motor started. Let up and try again nothing forward worked for a second or two but no reverse. It just shudders when it’s on the ground . Anyone??

Re: 2006 DS won’t move
This may sound stupid, and I'm ok with that, but are the brakes locked up? Will it roll easily? Sounds like the motor tries to run with cart on stands (dragging - tight brakes) but when you add the extra load setting it on the ground, it is like you are trying to run a cart with the nose against a wall and things will heat up quickly with a stalled motor. SWAG, well maybe only a WAG.
