Digital Battery Voltmeter
Hello all.
Received a digital battery indication LED today. Went to install and immediately receiving battery indication with key off. Fluctuations from 4-11.6 volts or so. This is a 2007 CC Precedent 48volt system (4X12). I pulled the old battery indication out and utilized the wires for that indication to hook this up. That may have not been the correct thing to do. Anyway, if so, is this normal? Doesn't appear to be as I am seeing the same fluctuations while driving Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

Re: Digital Battery Voltmeter
To better clarify the yellow light had quickdisconnects and I just unhooked them and utilized them for connection of the DC voltage monitor.

Re: Digital Battery Voltmeter
Those are not for use as wires for a volt meter. They come from the OBC. You need to run wires from hot side (red) side of your solenoid and the neg cable block near the OBC. This will get you 48 volt supply. You can also pick up the cold side of your key switch for the pos. side of your meter. That way the meter only works when key is on.
