pretty much the same stuff, I probably make 200 kits a year for the power wheels I build and the kits I sell thru the mail, the soldering of the lead wires is the hardest part

but mine changes colors fade 7 or 3 different color flashes 7 or 3 different color all by remote I have 3 16' ropes under mine

Ive used those kits that change color also and ebay is definitely the place to get them cheap

25 bucks for a kits not bad. we have about 5 carts in the neighborhood that I put the same kits on . we go mud boggin and all and haven't have any problem .

So.... Since these kits come with wall plugs, how did you decide to wire the kit to the cart?

I used a kit from LED GLOW. I have had them for about 4 years now, and they have been great. you can get a basic color, or a set that does changes colors, and patterns. easy to install also.

gumpbuck you can buy kits in either 110volt or 12volt
