OK, I read through the prior posts. Here's a question or two:

1) On your DS, can you take a picture of the pattern you used to spread the lights around the underside?

2) What specific location did you select for the IR sensor? From the prior post, I see that you are still using the remote. Do I need "line of sight?"

3) How's the 3M tape holding up? My cart serves as my hunting buggy too. I'm worried about mud/dirt/water. Use and plastic straps at all?

Thanks for all the recommendations so far!

Thinking about this kit. I like the option to have them flash with music.

Thoughts?

u have to have the ir sensor in line of sight. my lights have held up to water mud dirt and all . picking the spot for you IR sensor is more less up to you . and the 3m double sided tape I used on the roof is held up well. the under cart lights I used zip ties . and hooking the lights to a 12v I cut the black wire where it plugs in to the white box but I cut it closer to the black box and used the red for 12v+ black wire for 12v-

Just throwing this out there, I used zip strips (zip tie's) to hold mine. 3M tape and industrial velco is great just over time they wear out and you really have to clean the surface to make them work good. My .02 cents

I kind of like the ones with the thick rubber casing better to zip tie under the cart, plus the remote is RF so You can place the module hidden somewhere out of site.

There are lots of those on amazon and ebay as well, they cycle colors, fade, pulse with music, etc and come with the wires to connect directly to the 12v source.

Lights are in. Tried to upload video of them changing with music, but couldn't make it work.
problem now is I must be maxing out my 30 amp draw through the converter. Because once I start driving, the lights cut off. If I kill power to the converter and then turn it back on, the lights come back.....

You need a cap and diode on you power line for the lights.

As of now, I have them wired from a fuse box. The box is wired to the reducer. The box will accept up to 6 accesories. The lights are the forth. I'm using a 15 amp fuse for these.
