Default A1, A2, S1, S2, question

i want to see if i can make this motor turn, want to put 36 volts to the motor which is a 36v motor. so what do i connect ? any help is appreciated.

It should be installed on an axle to test it. There is no motor bearing on the drive end.

THANKS for the diagram scotty, u show the connections coming from one battery i assume a 6 volt battery being there are three and u said use 18v. but i did mean 18 volts , right ? what if i use 24 volts as im using 12 volt packs now ..

Oh yes, its installed still mated to the spicer rearend.... i wouldnt think of running it without it mounted to something. good info for anyone else searching this type of question..

you running a fleet speed motor in your cart?? are they all the same rated horsepower and or splines across the model years?? i wanna desperately get this XI 875 up and running

I'm not sure what it is speed wise. That part of the tag is blank. This is the tag:

I don't know what spline it is, either. I've never had it off. Sorry I'm not much help on this!
Here's another pic of it on the cart: To add, the motor will turn on 12V, hooked up as in Scott's diagram.

To reverse the direction from your example, it would be Battery positive to A1, jumper from A2 to S2 and Battery negative to S1.
