If the cables are OEM 6g crimped, it's time for some proper long-life welding cable upgrdes. The OEM cables were designed to last as long as the first set of batteries, operating on the golf course with two men and their clubs.

If you continue to troubleshoot, don't let the motor stud(s) get too hot or you'll be replacing parts in your motor as well. The motor studs pass through a plastic insulator, and it's possible that you may have already compromised that.

Two things for thought, 1- if you have a " tow-run " switch, place it it " tow " before doing any work on the electrical system! 2- There are two nuts on the motor with the cable between them. Make absolutely sure you hold the bottom nut while removing the top one! Failure to do this may let the whole stud turn resulting in a trip to a motor shop! I bought a cheap Chinese open end wrench and ground the sides until it would just slip over the bottom nut!

Thank you so much simple man. I have removed both the cables and the studs are pretty much junk. I removed the electric motor now and I am going to take it to the electric shop to find out if there is an issue inside the motor and have the two studs replaced. This cart has been run hard and put up wet lol
