Re: I need Info for a Lift kit on a 1996 ezgo dcs
Not sure... Where did you see an EZ-Go spindle lift for your cart ? I think they have them for the RXV carts but that is all I know about

Re: I need Info for a Lift kit on a 1996 ezgo dcs
On my cart, well its not my cart now its another members... anyways I have a 97 DCS cart with a 5'' Jakes drop axle lift, with 20x10x10 ITP SS112 wheels. I put the 400a Alltrax controller and updated wires on it. This way you have enough lift if you ever decide to go with a bigger set of tires. The 20'' are great and have went everywhere I wanted and was not a torque robber. Plus there is a tire which I think was speed racers that I had on my
G9 that the resort approved for Golf Course use. Plus they went great on the hardtop, gravel, etc. |

subby44, Like you said, do not go cheap, it will cost you one way or another. Stick with one of the known kits.. I normally buy the oem lifts but like I said, on this particular cart I never plan to do much more to than it being a people hauler at the lake place. 3 inches was enough for what I wanted and there was a $100+ difference in price. win-win for me. Your results may vary..

not sure if it matters but one thing to consider is transportation of the cart later. My 4" oem lift with 22 inch tires will fit between the fender wells of a standard truck. My brothers with a jakes 6" spindle will not as it is too wide..

Re: I need Info for a Lift kit on a 1996 ezgo dcs
Sorry, shifted gears. My cart with the 3 inch AllSport lift is a drop axle and pretty sure the width didn't change. My oem lifts are 4 inch drop axle and I know they fit between the wells with my txt carts. Workhorses are too long to fit in the bed. The drop spindle kits mount to the stock axle and push everything out wider. If hauling on a wide enough trailer none of this matters

Well for some reason I can't post the phone pics but if you go under the forsale section the pics are there. kgsc is correct on the lifts. I would go with the drop axle IMO. Look under our site sponsors. I went through 3R carts. Speak to Sean. Plus mention the BGW and 10percent off. I will be honest I had lift, mounted wheels and tires shipped below 750 bucks
