Re: Steering Stabalizer?
Not sure how I'd pull that off on my cart? It steers from the center and the swing arm is suspended above the axle. It would look really cool, though!

Re: Steering Stabalizer?
Not really necessary at low-speed,or Off-Road.They are meant to eliminate or reduce wheel-shake at high-speeds,more than just absorb steering-vibration.

Re: Steering Stabalizer?
I've toyed with the idea of adding one to my non-lifted buggy with stock tires. 35+ mph gets squirrelly. I don't feel comfortable going that fast without using both hands, and it's annoying to have to put down my beer.
I haven't found enough info from other folks to know if it's what I need. I'd like to test drive one. |

Re: Steering Stabalizer?
Actually I just did a drop axle lift and kept the steering stabilizer I had installed with only the springs flipped. Here's the pictures.

Re: Steering Stabalizer?
It helps some on-road doing 26mph. Off-road it does nothing of course. I mainly bought it because there's a spot for it and looked weird with nothing there.

Re: Steering Stabalizer?
Guess I need to look at mine. I dont remember seeing a spot for it.
I feel like I need to hold the steering with 2 hands going that fast. Maybe it would help with that. |
