New controller and now no forward but I have reverse

Is it possible the half speed reverse setting is working in forward? if it flies in reverse you will know.

Ok it is "moving" now.

This was the first problem when I was installing the F&R switch. I came assembled and when I put it in there was very little range of motion to the reverse side...

The arrows point to the stop that the copper was hanging on the the other shows the metal that is "supposed" to stop at the first arrow

I got that fixed and adjusted.

Then it would not move in forward but I had reverse. After getting an E-mail from ScottyB he suggested tightening the center nut all the way and backing off 1/4 turn. Once that was done it was moving forward!!

Unfortunately the speed was dog slow, I was hiding my face coming back to the house.

ScottyB recommended resetting the settings to the factory default which I did. I made "zero" changes to the controller but did have it hooked up on the laptop before I put it in.

Once that was reset I had to put the seat belts on, it is jumpy

Great news. I didnt even hook the laptop up yet. Hopefully this weekend i can play with settings

After it was running I would make an adjustment and go play.

I live in a retirement community so I have hundreds of carts go by daily. I was pulling out of my driveway and my neighbor says "You gonna finally drive that thing instead of work on it? Let's see what you got!!" and he takes off. I still have this **** eating grin on my face every since the look on his face when I past him.

tony, you still have plenty of room under the seat for one more Batt... you could go 42 pretty easy...

I am going to stay with 36 for now and when it is time for batteries to be replaced I will go with 6 8V

That is exactly what i am gonna do with my 96 dcs... my batts are 2008, I still get 36 hole out of em so it will be a while.. however i can not wait to get 6, 8vs under the seat...
