When out of the cart, the front of the armature is not supported, so it is going to wobble and can be damaged if you apply power to it.

There are no magnets in a series motor.

right now the batteries are fully charged with 36 voltz the motor is off the cart but all the wires are hooked up. when the gas pedal is pressed you can not spin the motor around as soon as you let off the pedal you can spin the motor by hand. what could be wrong inside?
could it possily be problems with the brushes

If you had downloaded the manuals, you would have seen the motor only has one bearing. The other bearing is on the differential. Don't try and spin it up.

As to removing a motor with all wires connected, this is a BAD idea. The energy contained within your battery pack can easily weld, cause a fire, burns, or even an explosion. I've seen first hand what happens when folks who've been doing this for years get careless and forget to take off a ring. Now they have a permanent "ring".
