I did not program the controller and don't know if turbo is set. I don't like being a mushroom and plan to learn to use the controller pro software, need a used lap top which is on the list.

Your suggestion to remove the motor is a good idea. I think I am going to get a separate motor from plum quick and have them build it. Keep the old one for spare, maybe have them do there majic on the old one if it works out good.

Side note, those new female rad socks I put in today were so tight I could not get the charger plug which is new with my DPI charger to bottom out and activate the small pin in the charger plug. When trying to remove, one sock came out on the plug. Cleaned and shined up the old ones and reinstalled. Works fine. I replaced them, because there original 07. I bought socks for ezgo plug but not from ezgo. Are these rad socks different ? They sure looked the same. They sure were super tight, had to do the side to side to get it out.

I will talk to them about the field map too. I also do not ever remember putting my foot all the way to the floor. I ease the pedal down smoothly and still have an inch or so left, even at 27 or so. Its the speed I like to max at, keeps the cars from getting pissed off and it is a golf cart even though it feels like flying at 27 with split windshield. LOL, Doesn't take much to entertain a senior.

Your comment; "I ease the pedal down smoothly" makes me suspect your controller's programming could use a little tweaking to better match your driving style.

You can program your controller to give your cart the smooth acceleration of a luxury sedan with a powerful engine or something akin to the way a top fuel dragster leaves the starting line, or anything in between.

------------

You're right: It doesn't take much to keep us seniors entertained.

I have the downloads from alltrax on my PC and plan to make whatever adjustments that will be best. Carts sure is step learning, have even toyed with the idea of my own ground up build on an old PDS cart.
