Help if you can.
I have a 1996 txt from what I can gather. Has brand new batteries. Riding in yard a week ago and it simply stops. Wife and I had to push it back into our shed.
I have changed the FR mechanism. See pics. And the solonoid. Pics also. Still no luck. All of these components are getting power. But cart won't go. I've checked for loose wires. Key mechanism? Re: Help if you can.
Your FNR has melted and is probably not getting good contact. Two of the studs appear to have oozed down from where they used to be.

Yep. That's the old one. Have a brand new one installed. Sorry I should have been more specific. I can't figure it for the life o me.

Okay 96 series TXT
New batteries New F&R Does the solenoid click when you try to go? If not follow this solenoid activation circuit in red and see where the 36v + stops? 36v+ good all the way to the solenoid? What about the 36v- coming from the controller jumper wire? |

Re: Help if you can.
Diode on solenoid appears to be installed backwards in picture #1.
Banded end should be attached to small terminal with the red wires attached to it. |

Will solenoid click if the ITS is the issue?

Re: Help if you can.
The solenoid will click whether the ITS exists or not.
Question is, what are you calling the ITS? There are two circuits that pass through the pedal box under the floor mat. One is the ITS. (Black thingy the pedal pushes an iron plunger into) The other is a microswitch, which is part of the solenoid activation circuit. For starters, take the diode completely off the two small terminals on the solenoid. Then connect all the wires back on, push the pedal and listen for the click. |

Tried it. No click. Tried the reed switch. Nothing. I'm stumped. I have a meter. Where should I check next? What should I be looking for at this point? FR component and solenoid are new. Batteries are new this past fall. Switch in floor? Key switch? SRG Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
