Default Ezgo won't move forward

I have a 90 model marathon that I swapped the resistor setup from a 83 model into and now I have no forward have sparking at the contacts on the swiper board and the resistor coils get hot but it doesn't try to move in forward figured y'all could help me out since this is the stuff y'all have

Your not going to get this cart fixed if you keep starting another thread, you have 3 threads about this same thing,, keep it in one thread

Wasn't trying to start a new thread I asked in the drivers club but it got moved I'm just not sure what to do to fix it was hoping I could have it done by this weekend since turkey season starts but not looking that way I'm just not sure what happened to it

this belongs in the ezgo electric , not the drivers club, i moved it, go back and post in the thread you want to fix this in, and lets see if it can get the cart fixed

Ok it's here now so my problem is I have power going through the solenoid and to the resistors but I have no forward and the contacts are speaking when you hit the pedal and I have reverse

ok so your saying that you had a 83 resistor cart that ran fine no problems right,?, and you had a 90's marathon cart sitting around, and you took all of the resistor parts out of the 83 that ran just fine with no problems, and put all the resistor parts in the 90's cart and now you have no forward, and the wiper board is sparking??, do you have any pics of under the seat so we can see whats up,, if it ran in the 83, and now it don't, then there is only one reason it don't run in the 90's cart

Sparking contacts is the problem .

Concentrate on making the sparks stop at the contacts. Do whatever it takes to insure positive contact and NO SPARKING and it's likely the cart will run.

Let us know what you do to fix the sparking problem

The only reason I changed out the parts the frame and battery boxes on the 83 we're shot I can get some pictures later

I have cleaned each contact and they look new power is going thru them because the resistors are getting hot

Did you change the motor? Did the new buggy run? Is it possible the old motor should be moved to the newer buggy?
