If you google or look up " club car 5074 ", images, you can see the copper bar.

If there are kids involved , riding or driving , I would not go full power reverse...ive got mine at 24 it its pretty good right there...I tried mine at 36 and it almost threw me out with the wheels turned all the way , ( I had had a few though)
