WAG > HPD not satisfied when the cart acts up. Or intermittent solenoid coil ?
You can disable HPD on the throttle tab to eliminate that possibility. Also possible the pedal switch is crapping out. GL

Thanks. The HPD did cross my mind. I don't seem to hang on to those thought long enough to implement them as time marches on!!

A customer just emailed that he solved similar issues by powering the controller J1 red from the key switch, thus the controller is on and ready whenever the throttle signal begins unlike if the plunger and footswitch are out of sink. A hot wire to J1 red would be a way to test if this solves your issue.

Thanks Scotty. I have a new ITS and switch coming sometime today. I'll install these first to see how that works. If that doesn't do it, I'll take your advice.

Again, thanks!

Ok. I installed the new switch and ITS, then set the controller to HPD.

I can bring the cart up to speed, let off the peddle, then mash the peddle, no power. But, if I bring it up to speed, let off the peddle, then depress it "normally" I get power to the motor.

So, I'm leaving the HPD box checked for now and I'll see how it runs.
