![]() i just got this thing about two weeks ago, right away i knew i had a dead solenoid from the way it jumped, but i got that fixed. Now i have something new, the cart takes off when when the key is off. Didn't do it at first, but i thought maybe i have a wire touching, but i see nothing. The coil on the 5th resistor is hot, none of the others are even warm. The only thing i can think of is that the forward and reverse swith has gone bad. If i leave the switch in the center it doesn't move, but if i put it over to forward or reverse it takes off in the direction. Any help would be nice, thanks.

![]() You have a microswitch sticking or the throttle is not moving all the way back causing the solenoid to stay engaged. The microswitch in question should be inside the throttle box. Pick up/ pull up on the pedal and see if it moves back any and the solenoid disengages.

![]() what i'm worried about is that the new one is the one giving me the issue, but the new solenoid is on the far passengers side, so it should be the fast right? when i do turn the key, and press the gas it goes faster, so if the issue is a stuck solenoid, is it the ones before that one? thanks for the help.

![]() the one on the far passenger is the fast one, the one on the far driver should be the on/off solenoid... that is probably your culprit....
if you have the money to invest, either switch over to a v-glide, or replace all solenoids at once, (saves hassle) |

![]() the solenoid is not directional... ... just install them the way they looked and you'll be good....

![]() Have you checked the micro switches in the throttle box yet. Why are you replacing selonoids? If the micro switch isn't fully retracting it want matter how many selonoids you put in it it want stop it.

![]() the solenoids are so old, and it jumps forward very hard, but the micro switch is the next thing
