![]() i have a 96 48v series cart that is getting the best of me. it will only run 8mph on flat ground. it will climb a hill, just at a very very slow speed. i installed new trojan batteries along with 4 gauge wires. i get the growling noise from the rearend that i've experienced on other carts due to bad batteries not getting enough power to the motor. i'm not sure that i'm getting the proper voltage to the motor. i've checked several things to make sure they are working, but it doesn't have anything that is completely broken, just something not working at it's full level. any help would be greatly appreciated!

![]() Slowest carts I ever had was a pair of 96CC like this. Check the throttle signal at the controller (in ohms) and report back here. Remove small wires from controller pins 2,3 and plug the ohm meter in to test throttle signal range.

![]() I just fixed the same issue in my 97 ds. It was the dynamic braking solenoid gone bad. I've since bypassed and removed this system as per reccomendations from this site. Works perfect and flys. Look up dynamic braking bypass. Good luck

![]() Must not be something that all DS carts had? Mine is a 97 CC DS with a F/R lever behind my right leg that is a series cart with no extras like dynamic braking.??
