![]() Need Some Help. Have A 97 Ezgo Gas Txt Lifted And Would Like To Go To A Key Start And Disconnect The Rev Limiter. Can Anyone Advise Me On The Best Way To Do This.

![]() On the rev limiter there is no way to disconnect it, its built into the igniter. THe very first 4 stroke carts 91-92 had igniters that have no rev limiter built in. I have heard talk from time to time of people going to make a igniter that has no limiter on it but have yet to see any. It seems most people just use gear change or engine replacement to get more speed.
On the running the engine all the time thing, your generator is your starter so it won't be starting like a car where your starter turns off after it starts the engine. You just have to power the solenoid that activates the start/gen and turn the idle up. The microswitch in the floorboard is the switch that does this now with your gas pedal. BU sells a kit to do this if you feel like bending over |
