Default 2009 PDS Won't Move

My battery died, so I towed it behind my truck. After I got home the rear tires smelled terrible, like something burnt up. Batteries charged fine, lights still work. When I turn it on and in FWD, it does not move. The reverse beep still works, but it doesn't move. Did I lock something up when towing it? I put it in tow mode. I am a new buggy owner too, so please dumb responses down for me!

Should have been okay but it sounds like you fried the motor and or the controller? How fast and far did you tow it?

Never went over 15 miles per hour (just in my small subdvision) and only towed it about 1 mile. How do I check if I freid the motor or controller? I took the back tires off and the smell seemed to still linger around the hubs.

Why did you need to tow it ? I'm guessing it was already broken to some extent.
Did you tow it with the parking brake on?
