Default 2012 ezgo txt charging problem

My pack voltage is 45 volts and my charger starts charging then kicks into 2 flashing red pause then 2 red. One of my batteries is reading about 5 volts and the rest 8.1 to 8.2. Can this make the charger not charge. Please help. Also tried and known good charger and it did the same thing. It is a power wise QE charger.

You have to do something with that bad battery (replace?), and then individual charge the rest of the batteries to try to bring them back up near 100%. Are there any accessory leads connected to the dead battery? How old is the pack?

No accessories hooked to battery. The pack is 4 years old just wondering why the charger says it's below 36 volts. That is what the 2 flashing red lights state.

From the Manual (for a 36 V, still looking for the 48 volt manual):

2-FLASH RED Battery Voltage Fault: Battery Pack is < 27.0V or > 50.4V. Battery is too discharged or overcharged to be charged.

The batteries are the original ones on the 2012 cart. If the fixes it should I replace them all or just that one?

Ideally, they should all be changed together.........but that's a 'personal finances' issue everyone has to decide on for themselves

I have another question, why are there 2 wires going to the negative post from the charger receptacle? And what is the one that has the black insulated thing on the end by the post? What is that? Thanks
