Default 94 Ezgo went two feet after new Batts then died

Installed new Batterys and the cart moved two feet then jerked and died ,solenoid clicks but no movement im suspecting dead controller , is it possible that it couldnt take the current of fresh batterys also looking for a clear diagram of that cart along with a detail of the F and R switch Micro switch wires and where they go to ...Thanks in advance

Which model ezgo do you have?
What batteries did you put in it?
What is the pack voltage at a stand still, and what is the pack voltage when you try to go?

1994 Marathon.

Here is the cleanest copy of the schematic I have.

If the solenoid clicks and cart doesn't move, it is a high current issue, so I've also attached a schematic with the high current circuit highlighted.

Connect a DVM between the controller's B- and M- terminals.

Push pedal just far enough for solenoid to click and you should measure full battery pack voltage.
If you don't, track the high current circuit back towards the main positive terminal on the battery pack until you find it.

Yep. M- is labeled A1 on some controllers and M1 on others.
