One of the best looking slant nose Marathons I've ever seen. Probably a couple hundred at our campground. You gonna get a Gulf emblem or a circular number for it?

I dropped the rear differential cover off last night to change the diff oil, ran out of daylight so I decided to paint the rear cover to match the cart.

Update: Cart has played a lot of golf since I last posted.
Only issue so far has been a new carb and just the other day, the nuts backed off the exhaust pipe studs under the head. Cart started making a small tick but that didn't even last one hole. Limped it back to the cart shed, it was getting louder every second it ran. The next morning I removed the exhaust pipe and cleaned the new gasket material off, I still had the old metal gaskets sitting on the shelf. Installed those and the cart is back to 100%. I'd noticed it seemed to be down on power and would occasionally backfire but it's back to pulling the hills like a champ. Wish I could play golf as well as I can repair this old cart. YouTube has been a blessing and a curse when it comes to taking strokes off my handicap. |
