It has a motor n it looks like most of the wiring is there but the batteries are missing and on 1 of the frame rails that runs side to side in the back (looks like right behind where the batteries would be on the bottom) it has a bunch of unhooked wires in a straight line like there was maybe a resistor board bolted to the frame rail or maybe a bunch of solenoids. I'm wondering if it would be easier to just upgrade it to newer electronics or would that be more work and money then it's worth? I will look at the tag tomorrow to figure out a year n take a few pics of under the seat to post to see what you guys recommend. By looking at some of the wire diagrams it looked like either a resistor board went in the place in talking about or a pack of solenoids. Thanks for any info

Are resistor carts reliable and able to tow easily? I had a similar cart but I didn't have resistors but did have a vglide. Are these decent carts and can I put 6 8 volt batteries in it instead of doing the 6 6 volt and make it a 48 instead of a 36?

Also is it ok if I post pics of the other golf carts I have here to see if I can use any parts off of them for this 1? I know they are ezgo's but aren't some things interchangeable? Motors, switches, anything?

they are very good at golf courses ... not for towing race cars
yes you can go to 48v ... but it will burn up the electronics
very little ezgo stuff can be used in a club car of your year
if you (or your buddy ) go with upgrade you can keep the motor but you will need the 48v charger

Chargers aren't a problem. He has a few diff ones. I just don't want to have him buy a vglide and new batteries and then a few weeks or months down the road something else burns up. Are any of the club carts around my year able to maintain a towing load. It's a light car and we only tow it a few hundred ft to the lanes sometimes. I think I saw a wiring diagram that used solenoids with a vglide. Do they replace the resistors and are they any stronger? I'm gonna post the other golf cats in the for sale section n see if anybody needs anything from them n that way if I make anything off them I can use it to hook the club cart up.

with a 36 v v glide you would be able to tow light car a few 100 feet
i use mine (93 ) to pull a trailer around

the solenoids carts are not compatible with a vglide

my suggestion would be get a vglide and used batteries for now
