Curtis 1313-4401 is the best one. It'll allow you to do speed programming.

I have one on the way. I thought it was the 4401, but after a second look it's the 3301. Is the speed programming the only difference? I mainly want one for troubleshooting purpose. I'd rather do the speed upgrade with the magnet. Should be here in a couple of days.

You'll be able to do diagnostics just fine, just won't be able to enter speed codes. I agree with you on the magnet.

I received my curtis 1313-3301 today and was eager to try it out on this cart. It had several codes in it from the beginning, but since it was a used control I didn't know which codes were for this cart. I cleared all the codes and drove the cart for a while and these codes popped back up.
The anti tamper fault is in the present code, and both it and the high speed walk away keeps coming back in the history. What do they mean? The cart has not intermittently stopped since I have had the scanner. Only that one time Saturday.

It's all part of that Excel / Visage golf cart GPS crap. Make sure CONTROL MODE is turned to ZERO and ANTI-TAMPER is turned to ZERO. These aren't really "Codes". They're more of a "Condition" than a "fault" and they are not causing your problem. You'll need to go to the monitor menu and take a look at the FOOT INPUT and make sure it stays ON when your foot is on the accelerator. If ever there is an instance where it turns OFF while you're in motion, replace the MCOR.

I did notice that before I cleared the history, throttle input was the latest code. I'm guessing that is it. Just gonna keep driving it till it does it again. Thanks. I'll turn off that other crap when I get back out there.

It may be turned off already.... They'll throw that code often even when it's turned off. But if they're turned on, it can leave the car stranded. That controller I sent you came off of a golf car from a golf course in Canada that was not equipped with GPS, so it should be off already.

I'll check it. I think that programmer will be money well spent. I can see it coming in handy a lot.
